Evan Almighty – Don’t listen critics!
Yes, I wait this film alot. Critics wrote that and now writing that it is a notorious bunch of NON-CHRISTIANS film. But don’t listen to the critics. I almost didn’t go to this movie after reading the reviews in the paper and online. There is plenty of crude humor for those of you pervs who crave it, but my entire family loved this movie. Steve Carrell WAS funny and has nothing to apologize for. The pace was fast and kept your attention throughout the entire plot, without the boring side stories and character development that most directors force upon the viewers. Just a good, funny, entertaining movie.
Mr Brooks
This movie was great don’t let anybody discourage you from seeing it, decide for yourself. I went to this movie without any real expectations and was impressed early on by the relationships in trhe film. Someone on here thought it was a bad story line WHAT are they talking about, it is a great story line with a very erie insight into the mind of a serial killer. Go to this movie and enjoy!!
Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer
Unless you have an imagination and appreciated the comics as a child your just a mindless peak stain anyway, that probably will not have the capacity to truly enjoy this type of entertainment?! You don’t really deserve to be commenting on such a basic intellectual, yes! Basic intellectual imagination and, what you do with that developmental process in life, it is up to you ?! But to knock something that was very well done! And somewhat difficult to bring to the big screen until today’s special computer digital effects, is outstanding!! The acting was Fantastic also with many moments of comedy! How can one say this was not outstanding?? A great one hour and forty-five minutes of enjoyment!!!
I’m dissappointed. Hostel II
I saw the first Hostel, so I assumed that this one would be at least as good. Well, I was disappointed. Tho the storyline flowed from one story to the new one, there was only one torture-murder, and other than being very bloody, it went down pretty fast rather than making us shake with fear and anticipation. The remainder of the victims had wimpy scared rich people who couldn’t go thru with it. One of the great aspects to the first one was the torture scenes….in which u didn’t know what was going to happen next. But in this one, you weren’t given that scary, gory, adventure. If you go see this, you’ll say to your date as you leave….that wasn’t nearly as scary-gory as the first one.
Ocean’s thirteen
After loving the first one but being disappointed by the second I was a little doubtful about Ocean’s Thirteen. But I love going to the movies so I figured I would give it a shot anyway. I must say that I found this third installment to be the most enjoyable. Al Pacino is perfectly cast as the casino king that Ocean and the boys have to bring down. There is really alot to love about this movie. Its fun, smart, and overall just a really good time at the movies
Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End
This movie was AMAZING! Yes, the movie was hard to follow, and yes, it was long. But, it was way worth it. There was more than one occasion where the effects were so amazing that it gave me chills. This movie was not run of the mill, and i think that that is what confused people. It is so different from what everyone expected. There were so many creative and brilliant scenes, and the actors did a magnificent job. Johnny Depp was fabulous! All in all, Jerry Bruckheimer did an amazing job, and so did Klaus Badelt (The music was fabulous). But, like anything, if you go into this movie thinking that it is stupid, or that you’re tired, or if you haven’t been a follower of the first two, then you won’t like it. As for the rest of you, who will go into it with an open mind, you will love it. Enjoy!!
